Adnan Rasheed urges teen activist to return home, seek education in a madrassah and stop maligning the Taliban.

In a letter written to teen activist Malala Yousafzai, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan militant Adnan Rasheed has claimed she was not targeted for her stance on education, and urged her to return home and seek education at a local madrassah.

Rasheed, the “prime target” of the Pakistani Taliban during the breakout at Bannu Prison last year, is a former member of the Pakistan Air Force. He was sentenced to death for attempting to assassinate former president Pervez Musharraf in 2003.

Below is the complete text forwarded by the Pakistani Taliban’s media cell to journalists in Pakistan:

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST MERACIFULL [sic] AND BENEFICEINT [sic]

From Adnan Rasheed to Malala Yousafzai:

Peace to those who follow the guidance

Miss Malala Yousafzai,

I am writing to you in my personal capacity [and] this may not be the opinion or policy of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan or other jihadi faction or group.

I heard about you through BBC Urdu service for the first time when I was in Bannu Prison. At that time I wanted to write to you, to advise you to refrain from the anti-Taliban activities you were involved in. But I could not find your address and I was still thinking whether to approach you with real or pseudonym, as all my emotions were brotherly for you because we belong to same Yousafzai tribe.

Meanwhile the prison break happened and I was supposed to be in hiding. When you were attacked it was shocking for me and I wished it would never happened and that I had advised you before the Taliban attacked you. Was it Islamically [sic] correct or wrong, or you deserved to be killed or not, I will not go into this argument now—let’s leave it to Allah Almighty, as He is the best judge. Here I want to advise you as I am already late, I wish I would have advised you in my prison time and this accident would never happened.

First of all please mind that Taliban never attacked you because of going to school or you were education lover, also please mind that Taliban or mujahideen are not against the education of any men or women or girl. The Taliban believe that you were intentionally writing against them and running a smear campaign to malign their efforts to establish Islamic system in Swat and your writings were provocative. You said in your speech yesterday that pen is mightier than sword, so they attacked you for your sword not for your books or school. There were thousands of girls who were going to school and college before and after the Taliban insurgency in Swat. Would you explain why were only you on their hit list???

Now to explain to you the second point, why Taliban are blowing up schools? The answer to this question is that not only Taliban in KPK or FATA are blowing up the schools but Pakistan Army and Frontier Constabulary is equally involved in this issue. The reason for this action is common between them that schools are being turned into hideouts and transit camps once [an area] comes under control of either party—the Pakistan Army or Taliban. In 2004 I was in Swat, I was researching on the causes of failure of the first revolution attempt by Sufi Muhammad. I came to know that FC was stationed in the schools of Swat in tehsil Matta and FC was using schools as their transit camps and hideouts. Now tell me who is to blame??? Dozens of schools and colleges are being used by Pakistan Army and FC as their barracks in FATA, you can find out easily if you like. So when something sacred is turned lethal it needs to be eliminated this is the policy of Taliban.

Blowing up schools when they are not being used strategically is not the Taliban’s job, some black sheep of local administration may be involved to extract more and more funds in the name of schools to fill their bank accounts.

Now I come to the main point that is EDUCATION, it is amazing that you are shouting for education, you and the UNO is pretending that as you were shot due to education, although this is not the reason, be honest, not the education but your propaganda was the issue and what you are doing now, you are using your tongue on the behest of the others and you must know that if the pen is mightier than the sword then tongue is sharper and the injury of sword can be hailed but the injury of the tongue never hails and in wars tongue is more destructive than any weapon.

I would like to share with you that Indian subcontinent was highly educated and almost every citizen was able to read or write before British invasion. Locals used to teach British officers Arabic, Hindi, Urdu and Persian. Almost every mosque was acting as school too and Muslim emperors used to spend a huge sum of money on education. Muslim India was rich in farming, silk, and jute and from textile industry to shipbuilding. No poverty, no crises and no clashes of civilization or religion. Because the education system was based on noble thoughts and noble curriculum.

I want to draw your attention to an extract from the minutes written by Sir T. B. Macaulay to British parliament dated Feb. 2, 1835 about what type of education system is required in Indian subcontinent to replace the Muslim education system. He stated: “We must at present do our best to form a class who may be interpreters between us and the millions whom we govern, a class of persons Indian in blood and color, but English in tastes, in opinions, in morals and in intellect.”

This was and this is the plan and mission of this so called education system for which you are ready to die, for which UNO takes you to their office to produce more and more Asians in blood but English in taste, to produce more and more Africans in color but English in opinion, to produce more and more non English people but English in morale. This so called education made Obama, the mass murder, your ideal. Isn’t it?

Why [do] they want to make all human beings English? Because Englishmen are the staunch supporters and slaves of Jews. Do you know Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, the founder and symbol of English education in India was a freemason. You say a teacher, a pen and a book can change the world, yes I agree with, but which teacher which pen and which book? It is to be specified, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said I am sent as a teacher, and the book He sent to teach is Quran. So a noble and pious teacher with prophetic curriculum can change the world not with satanic or secular curriculum.

You have given the example that once a journalist asked a student why a talib is afraid of this education. He replied a talib didn’t know what was in this book. The same I say to you and through you to whole world that why they afraid from the book of Allah because they don’t know what is in it. Taliban want to implement what is in the book of ALLAH and UNO want to implement what they have in manmade books. We want to connect the world to their creator through the book of Allah and UNO want to enslave the world to few evil creatures.

You have talked about justice and equality from the stage of an unjust institution. The place where you were standing uttering for justice and equality, all the nations are not equal there, only five wicked states have the veto power and rest of them are powerless, dozens of time when all the world untied [sic] against the Israel only one veto was enough to press the throat of justice.

The place you were speaking to the world is heading towards new world order, I want to know what is wrong [with] the old world order? They want to establish global education, global economy, global army, global trade, global government and finally global religion. I want to know is there any space for the prophetic guidance in all above global plans? Is there any space for Islamic shariah or Islamic law which U.N. call inhumane and barbaric? You have talked about attack on polio team, would you explain why the then American foreign secretary of state Henry Kissinger, a Jew, said in 1973 to reduce the third world population by 80%. Why the sterilization and eugenics programs are running in different countries in one way or another under the umbrella of UNO. More than 1 million Muslim women have been sterilized in Uzbekistan forcibly without their consent.

Bertrand Russell writes in his book, The Impact of Science on Society: “Diet, injections and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable and any serious criticism of power that be will become psychologically impossible.”

This is why we have the reservation on so called polio vaccination program. You say Malala Day is not your day, it is the day of every person who has raised voice for their rights, I ask you why such a day in not assigned to Rachel Corrie, only because the bulldozer was Israeli? Why such a day in not assigned to Afia Siddiqa because the buyers are Americans? Why such day is not assigned to Faizan and Faheem because the killer was Raymond Davis? Why such a day in not assigned to those 16 innocent Afghan women and children who were shot dead by an American Robert Bales because he was not a Talib.

I ask you and be honest in reply, if you were shot but Americans in a drone attack, would world have ever heard updates on your medical status? Would you be called ‘daughter of the nation’? Would the media make a fuss about you? Would General Kayani have come to visit you and would the world media be constantly reporting on you? Would you be called to U.N.? Would a Malala Day be announced? More than 300 innocent women and children have been killed in drones attacks but who cares because attackers are highly educated, non-violent, peaceful Americans.

I wish the compassion you learnt from Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) should be learnt by Pakistan Army so they could stop shedding of Muslim blood in FATA and Balochistan. I wish, the compassion you learnt from Prophet Jesus should be learnt by the U.S. and NATO so they should stop shedding blood of innocent Muslims across the world and I wish the same for followers of Buddha to stop killing of innocent unarmed Muslims in Burma, and Sri Lanka and wish the same for Indian Army to follow Gandhi jee and stop genocide in Kashmir, and yes, the followers of Bacha Khan, the ANP has an example of non-violence in their five years regime in KPK province, for example Swat, where a single shot was not fired and we witnessed the followers of Bacha Khan implemented the philosophy of nonviolence in its true soul, with support of jets, tanks and gunships.

At the end I advise you to come back home, adopt the Islamic and Pushtoon culture, join any female Islamic madrassah near your hometown, study and learn the book of Allah, use your pen for Islam and plight of Muslim ummah and reveal the conspiracy of tiny elite who want to enslave the whole humanity for their evil agendas in the name of new world order.

All praises to Allah, the creator of the universe.

Still serving Pakistan’s ideology, supporting occupation of Pashtun land. A Talib does not understand that if he wants safe life for Pakhtunkhw, he has to support the making of one Pakhtunkhwa. Oh but that is an alien idea because Pakistan is holy to them. After all Taliban were created by Taliban. Thank you Adnan good try but we support a free Pakhtunkhwa. If your mission is freedom, we support you otherwise you are no different from Pakistan Army for Pashtuns.

Agreeing with Rehman.Although i might not agree with everything in the article but just because our interior minister claimed everything bad (i mean the killings of the innocent) was done by the Taliban is incorrect, there is no proof of the killings that they have been carried out by Taliban or Al-Qaeda not even 9/11!!!

I guess we should unite against the drones and adopt a policy not similar to the one we have been following for the past 12 years, there is every chance of improvement and it also seems logical, there will be upheavals but at least it will be an experiment worth making an effort for.

Just ponder over it, what if US starts bombing Islamabad,Lahore,Karachi just because they there are terrorists in these cities and while killing a terrorist or two they might drone down families of celebrities, media persons, philanthropists,or common people .How will you feel having the headline , Karachi had three areas droned which included houses of boom boom, junaid jamshe and karachi grammar school and ONLY! terrorists were killed because these were precision bombings by the AMERICANS ?

God for bid this might never happen, but this is what happens in the tribal areas where families are destroyed and the survivors!! what options do they have?
What are the chances if any one or for that matter dozen of family members die in a drone attack ,how many of us are going to praise these drones?

Not the amount that supports it now

You need to take an overall view of what the brother is saying – I can tell from his letter he is a sincere muslim who fears allah and only wishes to implement the sharia (commands of allah) on this earth – even though the odds are stacked up against him – i.e. America, Britain, United Nations, Europe, India, most of the international organisations and most of the western world , the kuffar and unfortunately some muslims.
But in the balance he has allah (and Allah is sufficient as a friend against all odds) on his side as did Rasool-Allah so inshallah the victory will be for those who are trying to establish Allah’s deen on this earth in the form of an islamic state as Rasool Allah did in Madina – Once the state was established the arabs entered Islam in crowds but I ask you – Are the ones who entered islam when islam became an established force equal to those who strove to establish Islam in the first place, when Islam was weak?

Brother 1st do confirm who are killing innocent children or woman.. In Pakistan three types of Taliban.. One who followers of mullah Umar as khalifa.. Second One who are doing wars against the Pak Govt. or army. 3rd one is all over the agencies agents who want to remove the Pakistan from the map. A Muslim can never kill innocent people as they are doing jihad or else.

It is funny how not a single person can tell where the money that supports the Taliban comes from. It is also funny how Malala, a citizen of the tribal areas failed to mention the drones that have destroyed and continue to destroy the lives of so many children the same age as her. She is nothing but a propaganda and I for a major part of this letter, agree with the author of it.

1.to all those blind talib musalmaan here go and see the real videos of Taliban their real life capture of inhumanism ,barbarism and savagery and all those beheaded ppl they enjoy laughing at. do they really need education oh well no actually ask itself do Taliban even know what civility and education is I.e basic morals and ethics of humanity.

oh if they do they would all.the uncountable ppl they have killed through suicide bombings and terrorism. is the new world order being implemented through these poor third world citizens whose families they have destroyed .

what twisted way have they legalized suicide in Islamic shariah.there’s absolutely no way Islam.allows suicide.

why the hell does this adnan whoever thinks he is earning blessings for killing innocent polio workers who have hard time making ends meet.he has no proof whatsoever of this bullshit sterility story.based on mere assumptions these retards high on charaslike to think they are restoring fertility of Islam.the same Islam which has no room for assumptions when it comes to giving justice.so yes taking away lives of polio workers poor soul and destroying his family forever is really the answer to save fertility.Astaghfaar Islam had warned u of these munafiqs and here they are.

Adnan Rasheed – You are part of the same new world order and your efforts to look like a hero in the eyes of muslims has failed miserably. The Taliban shot at Malala, there is no justification to take a life, specially a child.
Secondly, which madrassah system are you talking about? That same system that has radicalized the whole muslim society? Where your masters have interpreted the verses from the Quran for their own benefit? Where fake hadiths are used as a reference to kill the innocents?
Then comes the most important part – Killing of thousands of Pakistani’s. The Taliban have killed so many of us that if you come out on the streets and fight man to man, the Pakistani Army won’t even be needed.
You are a bunch of thugs who have flourishing illegal businesses and don’t care what you have done to people, to Islam, to the Prophet (PBUH). You should fear Allah that one day you will return to Him and I will be waiting for that very day. Period.

This guy said that Talibans blew up schools because of Pak Army. Was Pak Army in Swat before Talibans or Talibans had to go rescue people of Swat from Pak Army? Then what about Buddhist sites which were blown down? Oh Pak soldiers were having units at schools and around every sculpture of Buddha… why can’t we see what these Talibans are doing. What Sharia they want to implement? And if someone thinks differently from their implemented Shri’a what will they do? Kill them or tolerate them? We all know the answer to it. There you have it – if you are provocative you deserve to be shot. Dear I say, an attitude not limited to the Taliban only! Muslims generally have no concept of free speech. There’s no protection of people to state unpleasant opinions. Poets, scientists, and sufis throughout Islamic history have been beheaded for ‘provoking’ certain thoughts. Muslims generally, and especially those in Power, think it’s a divine right to get provoked and feel insulted, which is also a good reason for them to take violent retribution

We have to first establish, who has the correct interpretation of the Sharia laws of Islam. I believe the Scandinavians have it better than any other. I have lived there, and can tell you first hand that they are most respectful and tolerant of other faiths and religions. They provide to their people, free education, free health care, distribution of wealth, almost 100% literacy, their citizens are very well looked after by the state, there is minimum violence in their societies and culture, above all social justice applies to everyone, irrespective of caste creed religion. In a society where almost no one goes hungry and his wealth, property and life is secure, isn’t all that more Islamic than any other Islamic society we are talking about.
Sadly, the Muslims live in hatred of the others. They always try to impose themselves with their brands of Islam whether right or wrong, considering all other creations of Allah worthless of their being.

Deeply moving, well considered and thoughtful letter. Accurate in its analysis of geopolitical events and the ideological outlook of those suppressing the middle east and Muslim world.
What is missing is the history of the capitalist nations that dominate much of the third world – the savagery they exhibit today has been seen over the last 5 centuries by pretty much every continent, starting with the Americas where they killed close to 100 million civilians and stole their resources…

I find this letter very very deep. It has pilled down a curtain of lies from a lot of parties. What needs to be noted here carefully is that this letter has been written in his personal capacity. Such words are words of courage. The thing about FC and Army taking over schools and converting them into transit camps is true. There is a lot of on ground evidence to support this claim. It is also fascinating to see that he wishes that the Army would stop killing their own people. That is also something that the media has been trying to say for a long time. His question on why only she was targeted is also very very important. Why is it that only malala was targeted and not anyone else. There were hundreds of thousands of girls going to schools in those times. Why only Malala? He is right. I agree with him and I would like to appreciate Newsweek to show us the other side of the coin which the mainstream media never brings to the fore front. There always are two sides to a story and history is evident that it has always been the victorious who’ve written the history itself. Newsweek has opened up a pandora’s box. And I see many comments on this post as offensive to the core issue. People are putting up comments in haste without giving it a thought for a few seconds and they’re the ones who’ve been forced to believe in just one side of the story through the mainstream media. Hats off to newsweek for this exposure of the society.

Without going into details of who #Adnan Rasheed is, I personally the letter is well-written except confession of Polio Teams assassinations. This letter is clear enough to clear #Malala’s washed brain. Had there been no association of Adnan Rasheed with TTP, this letter would go far away and would have changed a lot of people’s mind but since he is associated to TTP, the letter itself will draw criticism from people belonging to all walks of life due to actions of TTP. Being a Muslim Patriot Pakistani Pashtoon, I see it a beautiful attempt of Adnan Rasheed and his attempt must be appreciated.

We need the existence of Taliban irrelevant – they are hungry for this media attention.
Media should grow up and learn how to make this topic irrelevant. This letter is just horrible, an attempt to save face by the Taliban for attacking a 14 year old kid.
There’s no world conspiracy – Talibans are just screwed up in their heads.

taliban are a part of the illusion people behind the “new world order” have created! yes they are hungry for attention thats why they confess to all the bomb blasts and shootings that take place so that the entire world gets a chance to mock them and fight them and try to finish them too using “drones”. malala may not be their agent but she is “unknowingly” used by them to find a reason to carry on with drone attacks! i don even trust their confessions as they confessed the 9-11 happenings too but later the world started questioning the event itself! ahh poor us who could’nt even find a way out of these illusions!

Mr. Adnan when you are going to offer your own self for the suicide attack? Your Madrassas are the sanctuaries to turn innocent kids into suicide bombers and you are offering her to get education in that environment? TTP has never attacked any NATO or american but they have targeted innocent Pakistani’s and attacked on Muslim Army to create chaos which is in the benefit for the So Called “New World Order”. Pakistani ppl want nothing less than death for TTP now, you have nothing to do with the religion instead you are khawarji specially mentioned by Rasool Allah s.a.w . The only agenda of TTP is spreading a Fasaad in a muslim society.

I wonder who writes these letters, and who posts these letters, and how do they get transferred to the right agency, which then makes it available on the public…. why can’t our ISI simply trace this activity, hunt these scumbag talibans down, and bomb the sh*t out of them once and for all.

The first statement Taliban gave after they shot Malala was ‘education for women should be banned’ .. now this cockroach comes out of nowhere with his letter preaching righteousness to us.

Oh-uh, now I too have written something against Taliban, am I gonna get shot too?.. piece of sh** talibans! ?

both are muslims (Pakistan Army & TTP), so i request to both to stop the fight with you both fight many innocent people die, if you both against to eachother then choose the battle for it, in Islam (Qatal is haram). Pukhto ki wayi pa zora kali na kigi.

request to both comes and follow peace. Taliban and Pak army both most educated and understand to everything. Just follow peace and stop the name of war + terrorism against each other.

What disgusts me more than this letter is how people are actually agreeing to someone who is justifying the killing of a child for raising her voice. This letter in itself is provocative, and full of blatant gaps that scream “savagery and murder in the name of Islam.” This letter endorses killing (such as that of polio workers) and endorses extremism. Anyone who agrees with it should question their own humanity and morality.

Also, to those are wondering why Malala got so much attention while other girls who were shot by TTP didn’t, and to those who are angry because drone victims don’t get media attention: PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF AND UNDERSTAND THAT MALALA WAS A PUBLIC FIGURE EVEN BEFORE SHE GOT SHOT! That is why she is getting coverage! because she was already fighting for education and standing up for beliefs that did make her popular. When extraordinary people get shot, media covers them. When regular ordinary get shot, media does not cover them. That is how media works! The victims of drone attacks ARE being talked about everywhere, and people in Pakistan as well as in America are campaigning against the use of drones because they perpetuate warfare, and Malala is against this warfare. Her message of peace encompasses a message against any form of warfare.

To the Pashtun and Tribal area apologists: Listen to Malala’s speech again: she states clearly that Pashtuns are a peaceful community and that Pakistanis are resilient peace loving citizens. She is not advocating for 19th century colonial education! She is advocating for general education that most commenters here take for granted.

It’s tragic that our citizens who are thriving on baseless conspiracy theories are so eager to prove Malala wrong that they can stoop low to the level of the Taliban beasts and side with these hate-mongers.

what about those who die in Drown attacks??… this planted Malala-ism has nothing to do with our culture, traditions or belief. Only those will understand who still have any…!

This not the war against terror, this is war between cultures, the dominant and power full one trying to enslave the ideologies and thoughts of other cultures…..!
We are being enslaved in our heads because we think our culture, traditions and religion is not as presentable as the culture of west, without having any idea about their ideologies we are ready to leave everything… this is what they want and this is how whey have been controlling this race…!
those who support malala have no answer for this:

“I ask you and be honest in reply, if you were shot but Americans in a drone attack, would world have ever heard updates on your medical status? Would you be called ‘daughter of the nation’? Would the media make a fuss about you? Would General Kayani have come to visit you and would the world media be constantly reporting on you? Would you be called to U.N.? Would a Malala Day be announced? More than 300 innocent women and children have been killed in drones attacks but who cares because attackers are highly educated, non-violent, peaceful Americans.”

i totally agree with you sir! TTP is a part of the illusion these people have created around us and thanks to us as we are easily falling into their trap!
USA does not have the right to enter our land any way and take away our sovereignty!
i dont believe in claims made by taliban as they are doubt full… as they did claim themselves about being involved in 9-11 but investigations and researches now prove that 9-11 itself is questionable!
if a letter had been sent by an american official apologizing for the drones people would’ve readily and happily accepted it! haha shame on our hypocrisy and cowardness!

it’s scary how well-read and intelligent this man is, however he is taliban in the end – even the tiny ounce of sense he MIGHT have made, is negated by the fact that his people shot a 16 year old girl. Propaganda or not, he can utter all the self righteous facts about what the schools are being used for, make all the historical references that are possibly valid – but I have zero sympathies or respect for these words. I don’t feel all warm and fuzzy, and I still believe if she comes back to Pakistan they will finish the job.

There is nothing scarier than an intelligent man with a purpose.

i am surprised at most of the comments posted above. it just shows what sort of mentality we are witnessing and will witness in the days to come. its like we have bred a generation of istinja brigade who think they are the most knowledgeable when it comes to Islam and history. The most interesting part of this letter was calling Sir Syed a freemason 🙂 if it wasn’t for him we would still be busy throwing away our money on prostitutes and our children working for hindu seths since we didn’t believe worldly knowledge was essential for muslims. today whatever infrastructure we have is mostly made by the british sadly. As far as polio and the sterilization theory is concerned, just to put the facts straight the forceful extraction of uterus’s was an initiative of the Pakistan Government (referring to Pakistan’s case) where women took money for getting their surgeries done and this campaign involved large sums of money being paid by 2 private international companies for research purposes and corruption which operation ended and was shutdown after 6 months. secondly if polio vaccine is an infertility dose why do our fellow muslims happily accept it at the saudi airports where they are force fed like babies and create an embarrassment for our country. I think this Malala episode is too over rated but it does not give ttp the right to attack women, children and men all innocent who have been killed in bomb blasts and insurgency. Also if ttp implements islam and sharia why have they raped and forcefully married women and girls in sawat, i have a dozen witnesses to this act so its not a media pitched theory that i am presenting. what about their financing? they loot banks, kidnap for ransom and rob people to support their operations apart from getting money from international establishments. please tell me which of the above can remotely be considered as halal income. And ppl glorifying jihad in the above comments: 1) Ruling sheikhs of arab states are the biggest supporters of Israel and US. they have written agreements and mutual understandings over many matters. for the same reason you have never seen any reaction by them over the international crimes against muslims. the countries that took a stance and spoke against the west have all been destroyed on the name of so called arab spring or revolution, my question is are the people living in saudi, qatar, behrain have no humanitarian issues or do they have democracy or are all their rights given. 2) the reason for the demise of muslims is none other than muslims themselves. y does one muslim country support Israel and US against hezbullah? why is Iran alone and no arab country ruled by the so called sheikhs not supporting Iran against Israel and US? cuz its a proxy war. shia sunni both are muslims but it is evident that they will kill their own over non believers is this the islam u r talking about? Handful of britishers invaded subcontinent since our own betrayed us as usual. 3) if the so called talib convince me that their form of sharia and Islam is the correct one i’ll support their cause. but its funny that all this discussion is based over a letter written by a criminal who has been charged for attempted murder of the president of his country and murder of inncoent civilians, who has escaped after a jail break killing several law enforcement officers. wow

Malala is just a propaganda by UN/USA .

If the gov of Pakistan play’s diplomatically no power on earth can stop it from growing the reason we have India,USA,Afghanistan behind us is we have soo much to offer from every end of our country we are blessed we just don’t realize it.

For people who think the author of the letter is a criminal carries out murder & rapes i ask you aren’t we all a criminal in some way or the other we let things happen in front of our eyes and don’t invade in them . shouldn’t we be doing that ?

USA/UN it self is the biggest criminal running the whole world & killing the people , drone attacks and demolishing of small villages of Pakistan.

1) NOTHING justifies TTP attacking an innocent CHILD!!
This is the real face of Taliban and shows how illiterate, barbaric and inhuman these so called “thaikdar” of Islam are.
2) and how does Mr. Traitor Ahsan, expects anyone to come and study in these madrassas run by these animals?
3) Education should not be confined to Quarn only. Even Islam has emphasized on attaining maximum knowledge possible.
4) If they had actually studied Islam they would have known, that this is the time to do Jihad with a Pen not guns.
5) TTP and all other such terrorist groups are a stigma and disgrace to Islam. These groups have destroyed the image of Islam around the world.
6) Where is the tolerance and compassion Islam preaches in these groups?
7) They and only they are responsible for all the sectarian killing and unrest in our country.
8) Has anyone ever thought who is funding these groups?!? and why?? where does all the money comes to fight these wars?
I’d like Mr.traitor Ahsan Rasheed to answer some of these questions.

Adnan Rasheed is referring to the bombs and tanks used in FATA and Swat but completely forgets the atrocities done by his brethren, the Taliban. Bombs and tanks were used and are still in use in retaliation of their (Taliban) inhuman and beastly actions. I have personally seen bloodshed committed by these so called saviors of Muslims. There is only one solution and that is to eliminate them from the face of the earth once and for all so that the rest of the world could peacefully live their lives.

The very opening lines say that this is his personal view and not that of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Furthermore, his reference to the fact that he is concerned as both Adnan Rasheed and Malala belong to the tribe of Yusafzai is anti-Islamic, as the Holy Prophet had condemned tribal loyalty (al-asabiyyia) ! The rest is hypocracy as several counterexamples to the apparently “civilised” tone of the latter are evident; mass killings, slaughter, and bombing the innocent.

Canards against Macaulay exposed:
Macaulay was a proclaimed iconoclast. In one of his letters to his Father dated 1836 October 12,Calcutta (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Babington_Macaulay,_1st_Baron_Macaulay), he wrote:
“No Hindoo, who has received an English education, ever remains sincerely attached to his religion. Some continue to profess it as matter of policy; but many profess themselves pure Deists, and some embrace Christianity. It is my firm belief that, if our plans of education are followed up, there will not be a single idolater among the respectable classes in Bengal thirty years hence. And this will be effected without any efforts to proselytise; without the smallest interference with religious liberty; merely by the natural operation of knowledge and reflection. I heartily rejoice in the prospect.”
Yes. Latter day Muslims especially in India have always supported those who would promote shirk, against iconoclasts:
They don’t bother about the spread of gross coruption – especially – shirk, provided their their own ill conceived politics and self righteousness is secure!
For example many many years ago in the State of Tamil Naadu, india, the then ruling party helped eradicaate the installing and worshipping of images in government offices.
But their government were opposed tooth and nail by the bulk of the Muslim population there due to some personal communal grouse. And they were voted out of power in the next elections. Today, decades hence, government offices are full of images hanging from the walls, and they are being worshipped in this secular State!
At the Centre, the ruling party experienced multiple embarrassments, and was replaced by a radical right wing party, who, sometime after tasting power steeped India in a very sharp communal divide after installing idols inside the historic Babri Msjid.
Yes, Muslims are not concerned about the common good. Their concern does not go beyond petty communal matters.
Macaulay is responsible for the introduction of English as the medium of instruction in Indian government schools. Madrasas and hindu and other religious schools were left to the resposnsibility of the concerned communities.
To quote from the manual of the proceedings of the first convention of the Indian Associarion of Muslim Social Scientists, New Delhi (held at Bangalore on 11th, 12th June 1994):
“Quran is the best guide for social and economic reforms. Therefore, detailed attention must be paid to the teachings of the Quran, as THE QURAn IS THE LEAST TAUGHT BOOK IN DEENI MADRASAS.” (pages 62 – 63).
However, there are many ongoing canards spread against Macaulay. He is most often quoted out of context. Click here to read carefully the full text of his oft quoted Minute on Indian Education, of February 1835:
http://www.columbia.edu/itc/mealac/pritchett/00generallinks/macaulay/txt_minute_education_1835.html

No body should force others to accept religion or teaching or any form of education . People are free to choose what they like to learn or reject . human beings can lead a good life without the help of any religion in 21s century .if someone disagree then can they say , they lead a good life ? While many muslims read Quran doesn’t mean that they lead a pious life , a life without crimes , the extreme example would be killing ppl People should not take others life in the name of Allah or Jesus Christ because they are not the messenger of Allah or Christ nor they have established a link with Allah or Jesus . Its the same when we argue with each other , when we can not defeat someone in debate , we curse them or even fight with fist , if knowledge is not enough to defeat someone bomb can easily erase someones life in the name of Religion. You must fight with knowledge not with bomb , the more you kill , the more hatred and confusion will occur and you will eventually lose humanity . This is an endless cycle , killing sets off a chain reaction , a man loses his life , family loses the son , brother , and wife loses her husband , no matter what religion you are born in ,it creates sadness that won’t disappear in your life time . When it comes to war , it doesn’t end up with just killing a person with one bullet , there will be rape , in human torture , bcz the people who are fighting lost their parents , family members etc. when one man dies , thousands of people are infected with thoughts such as detesting , anger , loath ,confusion , revenge etc and these emotion will lead us to do dreadful things and some of us will take part in war and this cycle will not end. There is no way to wipe out one clan or cia or any country ,people who remain will start their revenge eventually and it will be same at the end . That is why people should be properly educated not killed, brain wash people with education rather then killing ;).Sorry for my Bad english :).
